Manerbio, 13 July 2010 - Nicola Brunelli in the saddle, Spat A Blue (SPAT O LENA x ARC JOY SURPRISE) lead the IRHA Maturity Go Round . The talented horse, owned by Claudio Risso, performed NRHA pattern n.7 to a score of 225,5 – the top score of the premilinary go of the Euro 24,000 added Open Maturity division.
A point behind, Rudi Kronsteiner secured a spot in the finals for DUN IT ON THE QT (Hollywood Dun It x Tivios Little Queen) owned by Katia Jungfer.

Givrins, 4 July 2010 – Saturday and Sunday saw the crowning of the last three European Affiliate Champions of the 2009 edition. On Saturday morning the European Affiliate Rookie Championship was won by Emily Scott riding her Enterprizing Footwork. Emily and her mount had already claimed the NRHA EAC Youth 14-18 championship! Reserve honors in this class went to Miranda Kant and her Its Dun Time.

Bernard Fonck & Great Sun Burst win the $30,000 added SVAG CS Classic NRHA approved Open
Givrins, 4 July 2010 – It was all about excitement at the CS Ranch in Givrins on Saturday afternoon. Once the NRHA European Affiliate Championship Rookie and Non Pro champions were determined, 26 top class riders ran NRHA pattern n.9 vying for the $30,000 added SVAG CS Classic Open Championship.
Bernard Fonck and Sail On Top Whizard, owned by Danny Cerato, were the second horse and rider combination to make their way into the pen. They set the bar and put the pressure on by scoring a 224,5. Two horses later, German rider Grischa Ludwig aboard Hollywood Yankee Kid posted the same score for owners Nixdorf/Karner.
Once Cody Sapergia, riding the 2009 NRHA Open World Champion, Star Spangled Whiz, made his way through the in gate, the crowd was all with him. The athletic stallion, owned by Italy’s Fabrizio Bevilacqua, showed off his talent and once the run was over, a 227 was posted on the score board. Italy’s 26-year-old non pro rider, Stefano Angelucci, riding his AB Captain Badger tried to best Sapergia’s score showing hard. His ride was awarded a 226.5 and the pair settled for third place.

NRHA Breeders Derby Champion Open 2010: Rudi Kronsteiner and Hesa Mega Whiz. Nina Lill and Lena Cielo Dream win Limited Open [June 26, 2010 - h.11:19 PM]
They had been the best oft he go round, and then also won the final: Hesa Mega Whiz (Topsail Whiz x Mi Mega) and Rudi Kronsteiner became NRHA Breeders Derby Champion Open 2010 scoring a 219. The stallion is owned by Andrea Castrucci (ITA). It was the third Derby Champion Open title for Rudi Kronsteiner ( 2002 with Seventh Iron and 2004 with Cal Bar Olena). Kronsteiner also managed to ride two more horses into the top ten: AB Lady Topsallena (6th) and GK Hollywoodshowtime (7th).

Wimpys Little Step Becomes NRHA’s Youngest $2 Million Sire [June 18, 2010 - h.12:26 AM]
Wimpys Little StepWimpys Little Step made history at this year’s Carolina Classic Derby, held May 13-16 in Williamston, N.C., when his offspring surpassed $2 million in NRHA earnings. The flashy palomino stallion joins eight of NRHA’s leading stallions as a Two Million Dollar Sire and is the youngest – by a margin of five years – to attain that status.
The 11-year-old stallion (Nu Chex To Cash x Leolita Step x Forty Seven) has an impressive show record. He won the 2002 NRHA Futurity and earned more than $185,000 in just three NRHA competitions with NRHA Three Million Dollar Rider Shawn Flarida, Springfield, Ohio, in the saddle. With only three foal crops in NRHA competition, he’s already proven his ability to pass his talent on to future generations.
“As an individual, he is so kind,” said owner Mark Schols, Ocala, Fla. “Yet he has such explosive athleticism. He’s passing on that mind.”

Shows judged by Three Top Judges from the U.S.A. [December 16, 2009 - h.9:52 AM]
2010 Americana competition will be judged by three top US judges: Pam Scott, Trigg Rentfro and Butch Carse. Christine Auch will be Bit Judge. The judges have got the cards of AQHA, APHA, ApHC, NRHA, NRCHA, NCHA, NSBA, PHBA, FEI and USEF.

All Americana shows are approved by the corresponding U.S. associations including the Open European Championship shows like the Trail or the EC Western Pleasure, which is approved by AQHA and APHA. Competitors will get both: their share of an attractive purse as well as AQHA or APHA points.
The reining shows are NRHA appoved, the Cow Horse shows are approved both by ERCHA/NRCHA approved. The cutting shows are approved both by NCHA Germany and NCHA U.S.A.

Five Days of Top Sport at Augsburg, Including $ 44,999.99 added „Golden Nugget Reining“ [January 25, 2010 - h.3:4 PM]
During 2010 Americana, there will be 27 attractive classes in various disciplines. From September 8 till 12, Europe’s leading western riders plus top riders from the U.S.A. and Canada will compete at Augsburg / Germany for the European Champion titles and a considerable purse, including three highlights: the NRHA Bronze Trophy Open Reining, the European Championship Cutting and the ERCHA Reined Cow Horse Futurity.
The finals of these shows will be part of the two Americana evening shows: on Friday September 10, 2010 with the „Reining & Cow Horse Festival“ and on Saturday, September 11, 2010 with the „Cutting Spectacular“.Americana starts with the go round for ECHA European Championship Cutting Open on September 8 (the first day, Americana is open to visitors).
The go round should take the whole morning. Right after the Open Cutting, the go round of the NRHA Bronze Trophy Open follows at about 1 p.m. This „Golden Nugget Reining“ offers a total purse of $ 44,999.99 added this year-.
