They had been the best oft he go round, and then also won the final: Hesa Mega Whiz (Topsail Whiz x Mi Mega) and Rudi Kronsteiner became NRHA Breeders Derby Champion Open 2010 scoring a 219. The stallion is owned by Andrea Castrucci (ITA). It was the third Derby Champion Open title for Rudi Kronsteiner ( 2002 with Seventh Iron and 2004 with Cal Bar Olena). Kronsteiner also managed to ride two more horses into the top ten: AB Lady Topsallena (6th) and GK Hollywoodshowtime (7th).The Reserve Champion title Open went to Belgian Ann Fonck and Genuine Lil Ruf (Lil Ruf Peppy x Lady Bug Light) owned by Anja Deutzmann, who scored a 218. Nina Lill and Lena Cielo Dream (Lena Cielo x Colleen Dream) placed third scoring a 217.
With this, Nina Lill also took the Limited Open Derby Champion title, with Daniel Klein and Whiz A Banjo (Banjo Whiz x Kay Lena Jac) owned by Maike Lehrenfeld placing second – the score 215.5.
